If you are driving from the center of Hemsedal, start by heading south on Fv52 towards Gol. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Fv243 towards Bjøberg. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers. You'll see a sign for Hydalshjallen on your right. Continue on the road for another 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near Hydalshjallen, which is located at coordinates 60.963071, 8.489525.

To reach Hydalshjallen using public transport, take the local bus from Hemsedal sentrum (the main bus station) to Bjøberg.
