Car

If you are driving from the center of Hemsedal, start by heading south on Fv52 towards Gol. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Fv243 towards Bjøberg. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers. You'll see a sign for Hydalshjallen on your right. Continue on the road for another 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near Hydalshjallen, which is located at coordinates 60.963071, 8.489525.
Public Transportation

To reach Hydalshjallen using public transport, take the local bus from Hemsedal sentrum (the main bus station) to Bjøberg. Buses run several times a day, and you can check the schedule at [Entur](https://www.entur.no). Once you arrive at Bjøberg, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers. Head northeast on Fv243 for about 1 kilometer, then take the trail that leads to Hydalshjallen on your left. Follow the trail for another kilometer until you reach the climbing area.
Walking

For those already in the Hemsedal area, you can walk to Hydalshjallen. Start from Hemsedal sentrum and head south on Fv52. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn onto Fv243 towards Bjøberg. Continue for about 3 kilometers on foot. Look for the trail sign leading to Hydalshjallen on your right. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers in total and will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
