From Hemsedal town center, drive north on Road 52 (Fv52) towards Fagernes. After about 10 km, turn right onto the road leading to Skogshorn. Follow the signs for Skogshorn and continue driving until you reach the parking area near the trailhead. The drive will take approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
Take the local bus service from Hemsedal to Skogshorn. Check the Hemsedal transport schedule for the latest timings. The bus will drop you off at the nearest bus stop to Skogshorn. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to the trailhead, where you can start your hike to Skogshorn. Please note that bus tickets usually cost around 50 NOK per person.
