Car
If you are driving from the city of Lillehammer, take the E6 highway heading north. After approximately 150 km, merge onto E136 towards Åndalsnes. Continue on E136 for about 70 km until you reach the town of Geiranger. From Geiranger, follow the signs to Dalsnibba via Nibbevegen. The road is well-marked, and the Skywalk is located at Dalsnibba, Nibbevegen 451, 6216 Geiranger. Note that there may be tolls on some roads, so have cash or a card ready.
Public Transportation
To reach Geiranger Skywalk using public transportation, you can start from Lillehammer. Take a bus to Åndalsnes, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. From Åndalsnes, look for the bus service to Geiranger, which usually operates during the summer months. The bus ride from Åndalsnes to Geiranger is scenic and lasts about 1.5 hours. Once in Geiranger, you can either walk or take a taxi to Dalsnibba via Nibbevegen, which is about 20 minutes away. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
If you prefer a more direct option after arriving in Geiranger, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing app. Taxis are available in Geiranger, and the drive to Dalsnibba, Nibbevegen 451, takes approximately 20 minutes. This option may be more costly, so plan accordingly.
