Getting There

• Car

  From Innlandet, take the E6 highway toward Oslo. Continue on E6 for approximately 90 km until you reach the outskirts of Oslo. Follow signs for the city center and merge onto E18. Stay on E18 and follow the signs for 'Oslo sentrum'. Take the exit toward 'Rådhuset/Operahuset'. Once you exit, follow the signs to Kirsten Flagstads Plass. The Oslo Opera House will be on your right. Note that there may be parking fees in the area, typically around 30-40 NOK per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  Start by heading to your nearest train station in Innlandet. Purchase a ticket for the train to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). The journey usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Oslo S, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take bus number 34 or 37 towards 'Bjørvika' and get off at the 'Operahuset' stop. The Oslo Opera House will be a short walk from the bus stop. Train tickets cost approximately 200-300 NOK one way.

  If you prefer to travel by bus, locate your nearest bus terminal in Innlandet and take a long-distance bus operated by companies such as Vy or Nettbuss to Oslo. The journey may take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at Oslo Bus Terminal, walk towards Oslo S and follow the same directions as mentioned for the train. You can also take bus number 34 or 37 from the bus terminal to 'Operahuset'. Bus fares vary but typically range from 150-250 NOK.
