If you are starting from Kristiansand's city center, head east on Markens gate, which is the main shopping street. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn left onto Østre Strandgate. Keep walking straight for about 600 meters. You will see the Christiansholm Fortress on your right, located at Østre Strandgate 52B.

From the Kristiansand Bus Station, take bus number 1 (Grimstad) or bus number 3 (Mosby) towards the respective destinations. Get off at the 'Kirkegata' bus stop. From there, walk east along Kirkegata until you reach the intersection with Østre Strandgate. Turn right onto Østre Strandgate, and continue walking for about 300 meters to reach Christiansholm Fortress at Østre Strandgate 52B.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the waterfront. Follow the bike path along the harbor. You will reach a fork; take the path leading to Østre Strandgate.
