If you are starting from the Kristiansand train station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road, Vestre Strandgate. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Dronningens gate. Turn right onto Dronningens gate and walk for about 300 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. Øvre torv will be on your left, marked by a large open square.

From the Fish Market (Fiskebrygga), head north along the waterfront on Østre Strandgate. Continue walking for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Dronningens gate. Turn left onto Dronningens gate and walk for another 200 meters. Øvre torv will be on your right, recognizable by its open space and surrounding buildings.

If you are starting from the Kristiansand Cathedral, exit the cathedral area and walk southwest on Kongsgaard alle. After about 200 meters, turn left onto Dronningens gate. Continue for about 400 meters, and Øvre torv will be on your left, a lively square located in the heart of the city.
