Getting There

Walking
If you're in the city center of Kristiansand, start at the main square, Markens gate. Head south towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach Østre Strandgate. Turn left onto Østre Strandgate and walk along the water. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep walking straight for about 800 meters, and you will see Christiansholm Fortress on your right, situated on a small island just off the coast. You can access the fortress by walking to the end of the street where you will find a small promenade leading to the fortress.

From the main bus station in Kristiansand, take bus number 2 towards 'Kjos'. Alight at the stop named 'Fiskebrygga'. From there, walk towards the waterfront. Once you reach Østre Strandgate, turn left and stroll along the street. Keep walking straight for about 600 meters until you see Christiansholm Fortress on your right. The fortress is located on a small island, and you can walk along the promenade to get there.
