Getting there

Car

From the town of Leknes, drive north on E10 towards Fredvang. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you see signs for Fredvang. Turn left on RV 814 and follow the road for about 10 kilometers. You will arrive at a small parking area near the coordinates 68.086937, 13.091813. Park your car here and follow the clearly marked trail leading to Viewpoint Rock.

Public Transportation

Take a bus from Leknes to Fredvang. Buses run several times a day, and you can check the latest schedule on the local transportation website. Once you arrive in Fredvang, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to the viewpoint. Look for signs directing you to the trailhead for Viewpoint Rock, which starts near the local shop.

Hiking

If you are already in the vicinity of Fredvang, you can hike to Viewpoint Rock directly. Starting from the center of Fredvang, follow the road towards the beach and look for the trailhead that leads up the hill. The hike takes about 30-45 minutes and offers stunning views along the way.
