From the parking area, follow the well-marked hiking trail towards Preikestolen nødbu, which is situated approximately 1.5 km from the parking lot.

For public transportation, take a bus from Stavanger to the Lysebotn bus terminal. The bus ride takes about 2 hours and costs around 200 NOK. Once you arrive at Lysebotn, you will need to take a taxi to the Preikestolen parking lot (P1), which is about 14 km away. Taxi fares can vary, but expect to pay around 400-600 NOK. From the parking lot, follow the marked trail to reach Preikestolen nødbu, which is about 1.5 km away.
