Getting There
Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Elnesvågen, heading northwest on Fv 661. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with Fv 63. Turn right onto Fv 63 and follow the signs towards the Trollkyrkja parking area. There is a parking lot available at the trailhead, where you can leave your vehicle. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so have some cash or a payment method ready.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Ålesund or Molde to Elnesvågen. Check local bus schedules for the most accurate times. Once in Elnesvågen, you'll need to take a taxi or arrange for a ride to the Trollkyrkja trailhead as public transport does not go directly to the starting point. The taxi ride from Elnesvågen to the trailhead will take approximately 15 minutes.
Hiking
Once you have parked your car or arrived at the trailhead via taxi, prepare for a hike to Trollkyrkja. The trail is well-marked and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the stunning rock formation. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water and snacks for the journey.
