To reach Vattind in Leka, start from the town of Namsos, which is about 50 km away. Take the E6 highway southbound towards Steinkjer. After approximately 30 km, take the exit onto the FV17 road towards Leka. Continue on FV17 for about 20 km until you reach the ferry terminal for Leka. Board the ferry to Leka, which operates several times a day. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once on Leka, drive towards the northwest part of the island to reach Vattind, located at coordinates 65.078456, 11.6117774.
Public Transportation
From Namsos, take a bus to the ferry terminal at Kolvereid. Buses run regularly, but check the schedule in advance for timings. Once at Kolvereid, board the ferry to Leka. After arriving on Leka, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Vattind. Ensure you check the availability of local transport options, as they may vary.

If you're arriving by ferry at Leka and prefer a more direct route to Vattind, consider taking a taxi from the ferry terminal. Taxis are available at the terminal, but it's advisable to book one in advance to ensure availability.
