Drive for approximately 10 kilometers (about 15 minutes). You'll see signs for Djevelporten along the route. There is a small parking area near the trailhead, where you can safely leave your car.

If you're using public transportation, begin at the Svolvær bus station. Take the bus that heads towards Kabelvåg and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Djevelporten (ask for 'Djevelporten' or 'Devil's Gate'). The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you get off, look for signs directing you to the trailhead, which is about a 1 km walk from the bus stop.

After reaching the trailhead either by car or bus, prepare for a hike. The trail to Djevelporten is about 580 meters above sea level, and the hike is moderate in difficulty. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water, as the hike can take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
