From the center of Oppdal, head southeast on Fv70 (Kirkegata). Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers. Turn left onto Fv293 (Målvegen) and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Mågålaupet. The parking area is available near the entrance, so park your vehicle there.
