Walking
If you are in the central area of Oslo, start at Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). Exit the station and head north on Jernbanetorget. Continue straight until you reach Karl Johans gate, the main street in Oslo. Turn left onto Karl Johans gate and walk towards the Royal Palace. After passing the palace, continue walking straight until you see the intersection with Bislett. At Bislett, turn right onto Bislett and continue until you reach the end of the street. Then turn left onto Rådhusgata and walk straight until you arrive at Rådhusplassen (City Hall Square).

Public Transport - Tram
From Oslo Central Station, take Tram 12 (towards Dronningenggata) from the nearby tram stop called Jernbanetorget. Ride for two stops and get off at the stop called Rådhuset. From there, it's a short walk directly to Rådhusplassen (City Hall Square).

Public Transport - Bus
If you are near the Oslo Opera House, walk to the bus stop called Opera. From there, take Bus 30 (towards Aker Brygge) or Bus 54 (towards Huseby) and travel for 3 stops. Get off at the stop called Rådhuset. After disembarking, walk a few minutes towards Rådhusplassen (City Hall Square).

If you are coming from Aker Brygge, a popular waterfront area, walk towards the main road, which is called Akershusstranda. Follow the waterfront path heading northeast, and you will come to Rådhusplassen (City Hall Square) in approximately 15 minutes.
