    If you are starting from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), exit the station and head south towards Jernbanetorget. Once you are at Jernbanetorget, continue straight onto Karl Johans gate, the main pedestrian street in Oslo. Walk along Karl Johans gate for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the National Theatre and the Parliament building (Stortinget) on your right. Continue walking until you reach the large square in front of the Oslo Cathedral, which is located at Karl Johans gate 11. The cathedral will be on your left.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), take tram line 12 towards Majorstuen. Get off at the stop named Stortorvet. From there, walk straight towards Karl Johans gate, and the Oslo Cathedral will be directly in front of you at Karl Johans gate 11. This journey takes approximately 15 minutes, including walking time.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you're near the Oslo Opera House, walk to the nearest bus stop called Opera (which is located right outside the opera building). Take bus number 34 towards Vinterbro and get off at the stop called Stortorvet. After getting off, walk towards Karl Johans gate, and the Oslo Cathedral will be on your left at Karl Johans gate 11. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes, and then a short 5-minute walk.

    If you are at Aker Brygge, start by walking towards the waterfront promenade. Turn left and walk along the waterfront until you reach the end of the pier. From there, proceed to walk up towards Karl Johans gate. This will take you through the beautiful area of Tjuvholmen. Continue straight until you reach Karl Johans gate, and turn left. The Oslo Cathedral will be at Karl Johans gate 11, about 15 minutes from Aker Brygge.
