    If you are near Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), exit the station and head towards Jernbanetorget. From Jernbanetorget, walk straight along Karl Johans gate, the main street, for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by the National Theatre on your left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Universitetsgata, where you will see a large park on your right called Slottsparken. Walk through the park towards the Royal Palace, then exit the park on the other side. The National Museum is about a 10-minute walk from the Royal Palace. Continue straight along the road, and you will see Brynjulf Bulls plass on your left. The museum entrance will be located at Brynjulf Bulls plass 3.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Oslo Central Station, head to the tram stop called 'Jernbanetorget'. Take tram line 12 towards 'Majorstuen' or tram line 19 towards 'Grefsen'. Get off at the stop called 'Nationaltheatret' after about 3 stops. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the large building which is the National Theatre. From there, walk straight ahead towards Brynjulf Bulls plass. The National Museum will be on your right at Brynjulf Bulls plass 3.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you're near the bus terminal at Oslo Central Station, look for the bus lines that go towards 'Majorstuen'. Take bus line 30 or 31 and get off at the 'Nationaltheatret' bus stop after about 5 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the National Theatre, and continue straight ahead. The National Museum is just a short walk away, located at Brynjulf Bulls plass 3 on your right.
