Getting there

Walking

If you are in the heart of Grünerløkka, head towards the east along Thorvald Meyers gate. This is a vibrant street with plenty of cafes and shops. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schous Plass. At this intersection, you will see a large park on your right.

Walking

From Schous Plass, take a left onto Schous gate and walk straight until you reach the next intersection. You will see the iconic former Deichmanske library building ahead, which is now Outside Former Deichmanske. The address is 0179 Oslo, located on the corner of Schous gate and Maridalsveien.

Public Transportation (Tram)

If you prefer not to walk or are coming from further away in Grünerløkka, you can take the tram. Look for the nearest tram stop, which is likely at either 'Grünerløkka - Briskeby' or 'Schous Plass.' Board the tram heading towards 'Majorstuen' or 'Torshov.' Get off at the 'Schous Plass' stop. From there, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Outside Former Deichmanske.
