Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Sentrum, start by locating Karl Johans gate, which is a central street in Oslo. From anywhere in Sentrum, head towards Karl Johans gate. Once you reach the street, walk along it heading towards the Royal Palace. After about a 5-10 minute walk, you will see Oslo Cathedral on your right side at Karl Johans gt. 11, 0154 Oslo. The cathedral is easily recognizable by its beautiful architecture.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take Tram Line 12 or 13 from any of the nearby tram stops in Sentrum. Board the tram heading towards 'Majorstuen'. Get off at the stop 'Stortorvet', which is only a 2-minute ride. After you exit the tram, you will be just a short walk from the cathedral. Head east on Stortorvet street, then take a left onto Karl Johans gate. Walk along this street for about 5 minutes and you will arrive at Oslo Cathedral.
