    If you are traveling by car, head towards Halden. From Oslo, take the E6 southbound until you reach the exit for E18 towards Drammen. Continue on E18 until you reach the exit for E6 towards Halden. Follow E6 until you reach Halden. Once in Halden, follow signs for 'Fredriksten' and take the road leading to Indre Festning. The museum is located at Indre Festning 21, Halden. There is parking available near the museum, which is free of charge.
