If you are driving from Oslo, take the E6 south and continue towards Østfold. Merge onto the E18 towards Drammen and then take the exit for Rakkestad (Route 22). Follow Route 22 until you reach Rakkestad. Once in Rakkestad, follow signs for Bygdetunveien. The museum is located at Bygdetunveien 6, 1890 Rakkestad. There is free parking available at the museum.
