If you are driving, start by heading towards the E6 highway from your current location in Østfold. Once on the E6, follow the signs for Oslo. After approximately 30 kilometers, take exit 37 toward Son. From the exit, merge onto the Rv 156 road. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you enter Son. Follow the signs to Skutebaugen strand, which is located at Skutebaugveien 32. There is parking available near the beach, but be aware that some areas may have parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Skutebaugen strand using public transport, take a bus from your nearest bus station in Østfold to the Son bus stop. You may need to transfer buses depending on your starting point, so check the local bus schedules. Once you arrive at the Son bus stop, it's about a 10-minute walk to Skutebaugen strand. Head south on Storgata, then turn left onto Skutebaugveien and follow it until you reach the beach. Make sure to check the bus fare and schedule before your journey, as this may incur costs.
