If you are driving from Oslo, take the E6 highway south towards Østfold. After approximately 50 km, take exit 1 towards Rv22/Ise. Follow Rv22 for about 20 km until you reach Ise. Once in Ise, follow signs to Børtevannet, which is located at the address 1730 Ise. There is parking available near the lake. Note that there are no tolls on this route.

To reach Børtevannet via public transportation, first take a train from Oslo Central Station to Moss. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once in Moss, transfer to bus number 21 towards Ise. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Børtevannet at 1730 Ise. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited on weekends.
