After about 23 kilometers, you will reach a fork; take the left lane to stay on Fv500. Continue for another 12 kilometers until you reach Lysebotn. Once in the village, look for signs indicating Kjerag. The trailhead is located just beyond the village center.

To reach Kjerag using public transportation, take a bus from the Preikestolen Tourist Center to Stavanger. From Stavanger, catch a bus to Lysebotn. The bus trip from Stavanger to Lysebotn takes approximately 1.5 hours. After arriving in Lysebotn, follow the signs to Kjerag. The starting point of the hike is near the center of Lysebotn, and you may need to ask locals for precise directions to the trailhead.
