    Car

    If you are driving to Pulpit Rock, head towards the town of Songesand. From there, take the road leading to the Preikestolen parking area. The parking lot is located at the end of the road and coordinates are approximately 58.98641, 6.19044. Please note that there is a parking fee of around NOK 200 per day, which you should pay at the machine located at the parking area.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Stavanger to the Preikestolen parking area. The bus service, operated by Kolumbus, runs regularly from Stavanger to the Preikestolen area. The bus will drop you off at the Preikestolen parking lot. The cost for a one-way ticket is around NOK 120. From the parking area, follow the well-marked trail towards Pulpit Rock, which is about a 1.5 to 2-hour hike.

    Hiking

    Once you reach the Preikestolen parking area, the trail to Pulpit Rock starts at the parking lot. The trail is well-marked and maintained but can be steep in sections.
