Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Rauland, head south on Highway 37 (Riksvei 37) for about 3.5 kilometers. Once you reach the fork, take the right fork to stay on Highway 37 and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Sveigefjell on your left. Turn left onto the access road and follow it for about 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near Sveigefjell.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Sveigefjell using public transportation, start at the Rauland bus station. Take the local bus that heads towards Rjukan. You should look for the bus that stops at 'Sveigefjell' or 'Rauland Fjellstoge'. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sveigefjell stop, you will need to walk about 200 meters to reach the main attraction area. Ensure you check the bus timetable for return trips to Rauland.

• Walking

  If you are already in Rauland and prefer to walk, start from the Rauland Tourist Information Center. Walk south along the main road towards Highway 37, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Once you reach Highway 37, turn left and follow the road for about 3 kilometers. You will need to be cautious as there are no sidewalks along this route. After 3 kilometers, you will see the signs for Sveigefjell on your right. Follow the access road for about 1 kilometer to arrive at the destination.
