Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Forsand. From Stavanger, take the E39 highway towards Sandnes. Continue on E39 for approximately 30 km until you reach the exit for FV 500 towards Forsand. Follow FV 500 for about 27 km. Once you arrive in Forsand, you can navigate to the coordinates X47W+76 (latitude: 58.9631541, longitude: 6.1455409) using your GPS or a maps application. There are limited parking spots near the infinity pool, so arrive early to secure a space.
Public Transportation
To reach Fantapytten by public transportation, first take a bus from Stavanger to Forsand. You can catch the bus at the Stavanger bus station (Stavanger rutebilstasjon). The bus service to Forsand is operated by Kolumbus, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once in Forsand, you will need to hike to the infinity pool. The hike is well-marked and takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
