Car
If you are driving from Stavanger, take the E39 highway towards Sandnes. Continue on E39 for about 30 km, then take the exit towards E39/Ålgård. After approximately 15 km, follow signs for the ferry terminal at Tau. Board the ferry to Sør-Hidle, which runs regularly throughout the day. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sør-Hidle, continue driving for about 10 minutes to Flor og Fjære, located at 4123 Sør-Hidle. Note that there is a ferry fee, which is approximately 90 NOK for a passenger car.
Public Transportation
Start your journey by taking a bus from Stavanger to Tau. The bus service is frequent and takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Tau, walk to the ferry terminal and board the ferry to Sør-Hidle. The ferry operates several times a day and the journey takes around 30 minutes. After disembarking at Sør-Hidle, you can either walk to Flor og Fjære, which is approximately a 2 km walk, or arrange for a local taxi to take you there.
