Car

If you are driving to Gamle Stavanger, you can use the E39 highway. From anywhere in Rogaland, head to Stavanger city. Once you approach Stavanger, follow the signs for the city center. You will want to exit onto Rv13 towards the city center. After entering the city, follow Øvre Strandgate, where you will find Gamle Stavanger. There is limited street parking available, and you may have to pay for parking in designated areas.

Public Transportation - Bus

To reach Gamle Stavanger by bus, locate your nearest bus stop in Rogaland. You can use the Kolumbus app or website to find the best route. Take a bus that heads towards Stavanger city center. Once you arrive at the Stavanger bus terminal, it’s a short walk to Øvre Strandgate. Follow the signs towards Gamle Stavanger, which is located just a few blocks from the terminal.

Public Transportation - Train
