Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the central area of Sognefjord and head towards the E39 highway. Follow the E39 northbound until you reach the junction for the Fv5 road towards Fjærland. Take Fv5 and continue driving until you see the signs for Bøyabreen Glacier. The glacier is located at Fjærlandsvegen 4105, 6848 Fjærland. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
Public Transportation
To reach Bøyabreen Glacier via public transportation, first take a bus from your location in Sognefjord to the nearby village of Fjærland. Check the local bus schedule for routes that connect to Fjærland, as services may vary. Once in Fjærland, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Fjærlandsvegen 4105 where the glacier is located. Make sure to check the latest bus times for your return trip as services may not be frequent.
