Car
If you are driving to Nidaros Cathedral, head towards Trondheim city center. From the E6 highway, take the exit towards Trondheim and follow signs for 'Sentrum'. Once you reach the city center, look for Kongsgårdsgata street. The cathedral is located at Kongsgårdsgata 2, 7013 Trondheim. There are several parking options available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur fees. Look for parking signs indicating 'P' for available parking spots.
Public Transportation - Bus
For public transportation, take a bus that operates in the Trondheim area. Routes 1, 2, 3, and 5 all have stops near the city center. Get off at 'Kongens gate' or 'Prinsens gate' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Nidaros Cathedral. Walk east on Kongens gate, then turn left onto Kongsgårdsgata. The cathedral will be on your right. Check the local bus schedules for the latest routes and ticket prices.
Public Transportation - Tram
Trondheim also has a tram system. If you are using the tram, take Line 1 towards 'Lade' and get off at the 'Kongens gate' stop. From there, walk south on Kongens gate, then turn left onto Kongsgårdsgata. Nidaros Cathedral is located at Kongsgårdsgata 2, 7013 Trondheim. Remember to purchase your tram ticket before boarding, as it will incur a cost.
Walking
If you are already in Trondheim, walking to Nidaros Cathedral is a great option. The cathedral is centrally located, making it easily accessible. From the main square (Torvet), head north on Nordre gate, continue onto Kongens gate, and then turn left onto Kongsgårdsgata. The cathedral will be on your right. This walk is approximately 15 minutes from the square.
