From the center of Kristiansand, head northwest on Markens gate towards Dronningens gate. Continue onto Vestre Strandgate and take a slight left onto the E39 highway. Follow the E39 for approximately 6.5 km. Take exit 37 towards Mandal (Rv 460). Continue on Rv 460 for about 19 km. Once you reach the outskirts of Mandal, follow the signs for Gamle Mandalsvei, where Barnevandrerstien is located. You will find parking available nearby.
