If you're driving from Kristiansand city center, head southeast on Markens gate toward Vestre Strandgate. Continue on E39. Take the exit toward Grimstad from E39. Merge onto E18 and follow signs for Kristiansand. Take exit 59 for Galgebergveien. Continue on Galgebergveien for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find Old ruin at Galgebergveien 32. There is free parking available on the street nearby.

From Kristiansand Bus Station, take Bus Line 3 (towards Mosby) or Bus Line 4 (towards Kjos) and get off at the 'Galgeberg' stop. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
