Getting There

Walking
Start at Stavanger's city center (Torget). From Torget, head north on Kirkegata street until you reach the intersection with Pedersgata. Turn left onto Pedersgata and continue until you reach the end of the street. At the T-junction, turn right onto Øvre Sandvikveien. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Godalen strand as you approach. The beach will be on your left side, located at Øvre Sandvikveien 26.

Public Transport - Bus
From Stavanger city center (Torget), walk to the nearest bus stop (Stavanger bussterminal). Take bus number 2 (Retkjøp) towards Madla. Get off at the stop Godalen (approximately a 10-minute ride). From the bus stop, walk back a short distance along the road, and you will find Godalen strand on your left at Øvre Sandvikveien 26.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Stavanger. Start at the city center and head north towards the waterfront. Follow the cycle paths along the harbor towards the west, which will eventually lead you to Øvre Sandvikveien.
