Walking
If you are in the city center of Stavanger, start at the Stavanger Cathedral (Stavanger domkirke) located at Haakon VIIs gate 2. From the cathedral, head south on Haakon VIIs gate towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Turn left onto the promenade (Sjøfronten) and walk along the coast for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large white building with a sloped roof, which is the Stavanger City Museum. It is located at Muségata 16, right on your left side.

Public Transport
If you are starting from the Stavanger train station (Stavanger stasjon), exit the station and head to the bus stop located just outside. You can take bus number 1 or 4 towards 'Stavanger sentrum'. Get off at the 'Stavanger sentrum' stop. From there, walk south towards the harbor. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left onto the promenade (Sjøfronten) and walk along the coast for about 10 minutes. The Stavanger City Museum will be on your left at Muségata 16.

Follow the bike lanes along the waterfront, enjoying the scenic view. Continue cycling for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the Stavanger City Museum located at Muségata 16 on your left side.
