Walking
If you are starting from the Stavanger city center (e.g., near the Stavanger Cathedral), head north on Strandkaien toward Kjeragveien. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Kjøpmannsgata. Turn left onto Kjøpmannsgata and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. Then, turn right onto Breigata, and continue along the waterfront until you reach the bus station (Stavanger busstasjon).

At Stavanger busstasjon, look for the bus stop for line 1 or line 3, which both head towards Madla. Board the bus and ride for about 15 minutes. You will want to get off at the stop named 'Stokkahagen'. From the bus stop, walk for about 5 minutes heading south on Stokkahagen street. You will soon find the entrance to Paradisbakken, which is known for its hiking trails and beautiful views.
