Walking
If you are starting from the Stavanger city center (Torget), walk towards the harbor area. Head northeast on Østervåg towards the waterfront, and you will see the Stavanger Cathedral on your left. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach Strandkaien. The Stavanger Maritime Museum is located at Strandkaien 22, right on the waterfront.

From the Stavanger bus terminal, take bus number 3 or 4 heading toward 'Stavanger sentrum'. Get off at the 'Stavanger sentrum' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the museum. Head towards the harbor, passing the Stavanger Cathedral on your left, and continue walking along the waterfront to reach Strandkaien 22.
