If you are starting from the Stavanger Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head southeast toward the city center. Continue straight down Øvre Holmegate, which will turn into Kirkegata. Follow Kirkegata until you reach the intersection with Vågen, where you will turn right. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach Strandkaien. The Stavanger Tourist Information Center is located at Strandkaien 61, just a short walk along the waterfront.

From the Stavanger Bus Station (Stavanger Rutebilstasjon), take Bus Line 1 towards Vagle. After about 5 minutes, get off at the 'Strandkaien' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the waterfront, and you will see the Stavanger Tourist Information Center at Strandkaien 61, which is just a few steps away from the bus stop.
