Getting There

• Bus

  Start by making your way to the nearest bus stop in Stavanger city center. Look for the bus stop 'Stavanger sentrum' which is located near the main square. From there, take Bus Number 1 towards 'Gausel'. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at the 'Egelandsveien' stop, which is well-marked. After getting off the bus, head east on Egelandsveien for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with a small road. Continue straight until you see a walking path leading to Wyllerfyret.

• Ferry and Walking

  From the Stavanger harbor, take a ferry to 'Tau'. The ferry ride lasts about 40 minutes and offers scenic views of the fjord. Once you arrive at Tau, exit the ferry and walk straight to the bus stop at Tau terminal. Take Bus Number 5 heading towards 'Stavanger'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Egelandsveien' bus stop. From there, walk east on Egelandsveien for about 10 minutes, following the same route as mentioned above to reach Wyllerfyret.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from the city center, head toward the waterfront along the promenade. This route takes you through beautiful park areas. Continue walking along the coast until you reach 'Egelandsveien'. From there, follow Egelandsveien heading east for about 30 minutes. The path will lead you directly to Wyllerfyret, where you can enjoy the views and the lighthouse.
