If you're traveling by car, start by heading to Vrådal, which is approximately 25 kilometers from the nearest city, Kongsberg. From Kongsberg, take the E134 highway towards Notodden. Once you reach Notodden, follow the signs for Rv 38 to Vrådal. Upon entering Vrådal, continue on Rv 38 until you reach the intersection with Rv 41. Turn left onto Rv 41 and drive for about 5 kilometers. You will find parking areas near the trailheads leading to Austre Roholtsfjell. Make sure to have coins on hand for parking meters if required, as parking may not be free in peak season.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Oslo or other major cities to Notodden. From Notodden, you can catch a local bus to Vrådal, which operates a few times a day.
