Car
If you're driving, Evju Bygdetun is located at Sætrevegen 44, 3810 Gvarv. From the center of Notodden, take Route 37 towards Gvarv. Continue on Route 37 for about 25 kilometers until you reach Gvarv. Once in Gvarv, look for Sætrevegen street, and follow the signs to Evju Bygdetun, which will be on your right. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Notodden to Gvarv. The bus service is operated by Telemark Bilruter, and you can check their schedule online. The journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Gvarv, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Evju Bygdetun. Head southeast on Gvarvvegen, then turn right onto Sætrevegen. You should see the entrance to Evju Bygdetun ahead. Make sure to check the bus timings, as services may not run frequently.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Notodden to Evju Bygdetun. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes and will cost around 400-500 NOK, depending on the taxi company and traffic conditions. It is advisable to book your taxi in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons.
