Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Lunde. Head north on Lundevegen towards Gamle Strengenvegen. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach Gamle Strengenvegen. Turn right onto Gamle Strengenvegen. Hogga Lock will be located on your left after approximately 1 kilometer. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Skien or Porsgrunn to Lunde. The bus service is operated by Telemark Bilruter. Check the schedule and buy your ticket on the bus or at the station, which costs around 100 NOK. Once you arrive in Lunde, you can either walk to Hogga Lock (approximately 3 kilometers) or take a local taxi, which should cost around 150 NOK.
Walking from Lunde
If you choose to walk from Lunde bus station to Hogga Lock, exit the station and head towards Lundevegen. Walk along Lundevegen for approximately 2 kilometers until you see the turnoff for Gamle Strengenvegen. Turn right and continue for another kilometer. Hogga Lock will be on your left. This walk will take about 40 minutes.
