If you're driving from Trolltunga, start by heading east on E134 from the parking area for Trolltunga. Continue on E134 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Tyssedal. Once in Tyssedal, follow the signs for Ringedals Dam. The dam is approximately 5 kilometers up the road from Tyssedal. There is a parking area available near the dam, where you can safely leave your car.
