    If you're driving, start from Tromsø city center. Head south on Storgata, then turn left onto Strandvegen. Continue on Strandvegen which turns into Sjøgata. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto E8 towards Kvaløysletta. After about 9 km, take the exit towards Kvaløysletta. Continue on this road until you reach Håkøyvegen. The Tirpitz-platen will be on your right at Håkøyvegen 39.

    To reach Tirpitz-platen by public transport, start at the Tromsø bus station (Tromsø rutebilstasjon). Take bus number 42 towards Kvaløysletta. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Håkøyvegen stop. From there, walk approximately 200 meters southwest along Håkøyvegen, and you will find the Tirpitz-platen at Håkøyvegen 39.
