Pure Arctic Magic: Curious Orcas & Northern Lights!

An absolutely unforgettable Arctic adventure! We left the harbor around 08:40 AM and returned by 5:00 PM, and every moment was worth it. The guides were incredible. Highly knowledgeable and deeply entertaining, sharing fascinating insights about the local area and the different whale species, especially the orcas. The boat itself was perfect; the indoor cabin kept us perfectly warm, while the open-deck design gave us an unobstructed, breathtaking view of the Northern Lights. Yes, the Arctic outdoors is freezing, but holding a hot cup of coffee outside makes it completely manageable! The absolute highlight was encountering a massive pod of 30 to 50 orcas. The captain was highly respectful, always maintaining a safe distance, but the curious orcas actually chose to swim right up to our boat on their own. It was a magical, surreal experience. I would love to do it all over again!

The online booking worked without any problems and one evening before we got another confirmation via SMS. There were only two of us on the boat with our guide Lucy. She explained everything to us very well, was very nice, very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable with her. The physical well-being was also taken care of. We even saw a few marine mammals swimming very close to the boat. We caught cod, pollack and whiting, among others. And there was also a redfish. Thanks again for the nice trip.
