From the center of Tromsø (Sentrum), head towards Storgata, which is the main shopping street. Walk along Storgata until you reach the intersection with Kirkegata. Turn left onto Kirkegata. Continue until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Strandvegen. The Roald Amundsen Monument is located in a small park area just ahead on your right.
