If you're driving, head towards Trondheim city center. Use the E6 highway if you're coming from the north or south. Once in Trondheim, follow signs for 'Sentrum' (City Center). You will want to navigate to Munkegata 23, which is where Stiftsgården is located. There is limited street parking available, so look for designated parking areas nearby. Be mindful of parking regulations, as fines can be issued for violations.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus to Trondheim. From the main bus station (Trondheim Bus Station), you can catch the bus number 1, 2, or 3 that stops at the city center. Once you arrive at the stop nearest to Munkegata, disembark and walk to Munkegata 23. The bus ticket costs around 40 NOK, and you can purchase it at the station or via a mobile app.

Trondheim does not currently have a tram service, but there are plans for one in the future. For now, your best bet is the bus service mentioned above.

If you're already in the city center, Stiftsgården is easily accessible on foot. From the main square (Torvet), head towards Munkegata, and it should take you about 10-15 minutes to walk to Munkegata 23. Enjoy the sights along the way, as Trondheim city center is quite scenic.

Trondheim is a bike-friendly city. If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride to Stiftsgården. There are bike lanes throughout the city, and it's a pleasant ride to Munkegata 23. Make sure to lock your bike at designated bike racks when you arrive.
