If you are starting from the Trondheim city center, begin by heading towards the riverfront along Nordre Gate. Walk towards the historic bridge called Gamle Bybro. Once you cross the bridge, take a right onto Kjøpmannsgata and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. You will find yourself at the waterfront area. From there, turn left and walk along the water until you reach the intersection with Nedre Ila. Continue walking straight until you reach Nedre Ila 2, where Ila Fyr is located.
