Car

If you are traveling by car, start on the E18 highway. From either direction (Oslo or Kristiansand), take the exit towards Seljord on the Rv 38 road. Follow Rv 38 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Seljord. Once in Seljord, follow local signs for Seljordstårnet. There is a parking area available at the base of the tower.

Public Transportation

To reach Seljordstårnet via public transportation, take a train to either Notodden or Bø, which are both well-connected to major cities. From Notodden or Bø, you can take a bus towards Seljord. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the most current times. Once you arrive in Seljord, follow the local signs to Seljordstårnet, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you are already in Seljord, you can walk to Seljordstårnet from the town center. Head southwest on Rv 38, and after about 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs directing you towards the tower. The walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes, and the path is well-maintained.
