From the city center of Skien, take the E18 highway towards Porsgrunn. Continue on E18 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the exit for Highway 36 towards Kongsberg. Follow Highway 36 for about 15 kilometers, then turn onto Highway 38 towards Høydalsmo. Continue on Highway 38 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach Høydalsmo. Once you arrive in Høydalsmo, look for Museumsvegen, and turn onto it. The Vest-Telemark Museum Eidsborg is located at Museumsvegen 9.

Start at the main bus terminal in Skien. Take a bus operated by Telemark Bilruter towards Høydalsmo. The journey may take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the route and connections. If you are coming from a more remote area in Vestfold og Telemark, you can drive to the nearest train station, such as Notodden or Bø. From there, take the train to Skien. Once in Skien, proceed to the main bus terminal and take a bus towards Høydalsmo. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will reach Høydalsmo. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer to the museum.
