Car

If you're traveling by car from any location in Vestfold, set your GPS to Eivind Olsens vei, 3016 Drammen. From Tønsberg, take the E18 highway towards Drammen. After about 50 km, take the exit towards Drammen (Route 23). Continue on Route 23 until you reach the city center. Follow the signs for 'Spiralen' which will lead you to the parking area at the base of the Drammen Spiral. Parking may incur a fee, typically around 25 NOK per hour.

Public Transportation - Train

To reach Drammen Spiral via public transportation, take a train from any station in Vestfold (like Tønsberg or Sandefjord) to Drammen Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at Drammen Station, exit the station and look for bus number 13, which will take you closer to the Spiral. Get off at the 'Spiralen' bus stop, which is a short walk from the entrance to the Spiral. A one-way train ticket costs approximately 120 NOK.

Public Transportation - Bus

Alternatively, you can take a bus from various locations in Vestfold to Drammen. For example, from Tønsberg, take the bus towards Drammen, which typically takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Drammen, you can either walk to the base of the Spiral (about 30 minutes) or take a local bus (number 13) to the 'Spiralen' stop. A bus ticket costs around 70 NOK.
